It is winter here for sure. Everyone has said that last year was very mild. We did have a couple of good snows last year but they melted in a day or two and since they happened during the week I didn't get to see the castle in the snow. I was on my way out to the store when my neighbor asked if I wanted to go to the castle. So we caught the next bus and spent the next couple of hours trying not to slip while going up and down the steep castle steps and trumping through the garden. We finished our trip, soaked through and getting cold, with some cake and hot drinks at a nearby cafe. Came home and had a nice warm soak!
It looks like I put a black and white setting on my camera (I didn't). I was wishing for someone to come by with a red umbrella!
